Hi all,

Just to let you all know unfortunately the Brunel has not been able to keep it together for the summer league and had to drop out at the half way point. This has resulted in the second half draws for their mini league now having a bye. But this has helped Steventons get off that bottom spot J. They are hoping to return for the Winter league with a new captain.

We are a few weeks away yet, but I want to give you all enough notice that the registration night for the Winter league will be 17th August at 7:30pm at Boars Head, Middlewich. At this meeting please ensure you bring with you:

· £50 registration (£200 in total for complete season)

· £3 per player to be signed

· £1 per knockout entry

· Filled in registration form (the is 2 tabs on the attached sheet)

Obviously, if anyone wants to arrange this information and monies for the 17th August then we will accommodate as best we can, just give me or Andy a call.

If anyone wants to pay in full at the beginning of the season or at any point during the season, this will mean that no attendance is mandatory to the meetings during the season, unless the committee have another reason, i.e. there is a problem.

If anyone knows of any teams that might want to join the winter league then please let me or Andy know ASAP so we can contact them.

Hi all,

We have hit the halfway point of what is turning into an interesting quick summer league.

Unfortunately Knights Grange have struggled to keep their summer team together and have folded, so in both divisions we have 2 byes.

I have decided that rather than having byes we should be playing pool, and have put the byes together, based on location where possible so travel is not too far, so PLEASE check the website (or see below) for the extra fixtures for those teams who originally had byes. The format will be the same as a normal match but the results don’t need to be sent in.

Hi all,

Apologies for the delay on issuing the summer league fixtures, we had some issues with the normal way we draw the league fixtures. I would like to thank Ian Affleck for his assistance in producing these.

Please find attached a spreadsheet showing summer league fixtures, it will be played in the format of 5 singles and 2 scotch doubles. ALL captains WIN or LOSE need to send results in either via text or email as we have no books. If you need something to write down scores etc. on the second sheet in the attachment you can print this off.

The league is starting on the 21st May 2014 until 20th August 2014, then the winners and runners up will play off in a semi/final.

Prize money will be given out as follows:
Winner: £125
Runner-up: £75
Semi-Finalist (each): £30

Hopefully we will all have fun with the summer league. Just so you are aware there will be a registration meeting in August for the winter league, date/venue will be emailed out closer to the time, at this meeting teams will need to pay for their players at £3 per man, £1 per KO entry and £50 registration, you are entitled to pay more at this meeting, meaning you will not need to attend the following meetings during the winter league, except the last one (so maybe start collecting subs during the summer league).
